Kitchen Hutch - Budget $50, Spent so far $20
Just $20 at the local op-shop I'm thinking this old girl is just going to need a coat of paint and some new knobs. Will make a nice addition to the dining room!
Don't do what I did and rip the door off its hinges while getting off the back of the ute! An easy fix but makes it a slightly more painful upcycle!
One coat of paint in and I am already liking the new look. Best thing so far is I found a tin of a pale Duck Egg colour under the house so the paint is totally free!
Console/Buffet - Budget $100, Spent so far $60
I was going to paint it antique white, and then the insides of the drawers/cupboards in the Blue but I had an accident, got frustrated and painted the whole thing Turquoise. I am actually really liking the bold colour. If I get sick of it I can always paint it again!
Getting the handles off was the worst bit of this project....patience is a virtue I lack!

I am so excited to be doing this unit which I scored at an Antique Market for $5.
I have always wanted to try my hands at decoupaging drawer fronts, it looks like I have found my opportunity!
